Another Chase in Glynn, Another Apprehension

After a car was observed passing on a double yellow line and running the oncoming traffic off the road at Old Jesup Road and Glyndale Drive, Sheriff’s deputies attempted to stop the car. When it fled, deputies initiated a high-speed pursuit that stretched across parts of Glynn County. Around Tillman Avenue the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed it according to Glynn County Sheriff Neal Jump. From there the driver fled on foot and was pursued by deputies. The driver was eventually tased after failing to stop upon orders from the deputies and was taken into custody. The driver was taken to the Glynn County Detention Center where it was discovered he was wanted on outstanding felony assault warrants.

The driver was checked medically and suffered no injuries. The Sheriff also happily reported the only vehicle damage suffered was to the suspect’s car.
