Glynn County GA—At about 12:28 AM on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 Glynn County Police Department (GCPD) Patrol Team A-2 responded to a robbery at the Five Star Mini Mart, 100 Old Jesup Road. Preliminary investigation shows that an unknown male suspect did enter the store and commit the offense of Robbery (OCGA 16-8-41).
The clerk did not resist and the suspect took cash from the store’s registers. The suspect is believed to have fled behind the location towards the railroad tracks and Whitlock Street. This is an ongoing investigation and GCPD is awaiting the video from the store’s camera systems at this time.
